Trudy Zohn

Trudy Zohn's work explores a wide variety of mediums and subjects. She started her career as an Industrial Designer working on packaging and product design for beauty and pharmaceutical companies .
While her commercial practice was extremely realistic,her paintings and mixed media work tend towards the abstract.
Presently, Zohn works with acrylic paint and collage emphasizing texture and color. She works on a fairly large scale creating mixed media,abstracted images. In addition she is currently exploring ceramics and printmaking.
Zohn earned her MFA in design at the University of Illinois and her BFA in Fine Art from SUNY Buffalo.
